A PlayStation State of Play all about… Hogwarts Legacy?
That’s right, and it’s happening this Thursday. We’re a little confused too, seeing as – as far as we’re aware – Hogwarts Legacy isn’t a PlayStation exclusive game. It’s being published by Warner Bros., and its website still states it’s coming to Xbox and PC as well. And so a State of Play of a multi-format game is an unusual move. But we’re living in unusual times.
The Hogwarts Legacy State of Play will be about 20 minutes long, giving us a 14-minute long look at gameplay captured on PS5. We’ll also get an insight into development from members of the team at Avalanche Software.
The announcement on the PlayStation Blog, penned by a Warner Bros. community manager, states “head back to the PlayStation Blog afterward for a special post that will add a little more context to what we’re about to show you”. That could be a cryptic clue to an unusual announcement. Or it could simply mean that an accompanying blog post will reveal further details about the game. We’ll have to wait and see.
