Fancy a bit of smuggling, doing your best Han Solo impression? No Man’s Sky’s Outlaws update has you covered.
That’s just one of the many changes the lastest update brings to No Man’s Sky and, yes, the update is still free. You’ll be able to trade in illegal goods, selling them in outlaw systems. Of course, the space police may also scan you but being a life of crime isn’t without its risks.
Dodgy goods side, the update add cloth physics, so you can wear a cape that flaps in the wind, better space combat, a new class of capital ship, the Solar Ship, the option to own nine starships and more. You can also tweak your wingmen (insert your own mucky joke here) and carry even more cargo, useful if you are indeed interesting in being a smuggler.
One cool but cosmetic feature is that, roaming a planet, you might see capital ships hyperspace in and out of the region. It still doesn’t add the one feature we’ve been craving which is being able to engage in Homeworld-style capital ship battles from within your vessel, but we’ve got our fingers crossed.
