Does Sniper Elite 5 Support Crossplay?

Sniper Elite 5

Sniper Elite 5 is the latest in Rebellion’s premier sniping series. And as ever it has a wealth of multiplayer features.

Its campaign supports online co-op, for example, and there’s also a co-operative survival mode. A suite of competitive multiplayer modes are included, too, as well as a new invasion mechanic for the campaign that allows players to take control of a Jager hunter to hunt Karl Fairburne down. Needless to say, if you don’t at least try the multiplayer features of Sniper Elite 5, you’re missing out.

Available on PlayStation and Xbox consoles as well as PC, what makes the multiplayer features of Sniper Elite 5 even more accessible and compelling is the fact that the game fully supports crossplay. So, whether you and your friends are playing on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S or PC, you can team up to play co-operatively, or go against each other. And even if you don’t plan to play with friends, it means the online player base is more buoyant, which is always a plus.

So, does Sniper Elite 5 support crossplay? Yes it most certainly does. And with it included in Xbox Game Pass at launch, if you’re a subscriber to the service there’s no reason not to at least give it a try. Especially with your friends not even needing to have it on the same format to play with you.
