How Long Does it Take to Beat Trek to Yomi?

Trek to Yomi Review

Trek to Yomi is like an epic interactive samurai movie.

Putting players in the shoes of a samurai called Hiroki, the game follows him through numerous tragedies in his life. It combines light exploration with many combat encounters, and sports a sensational visual style. But you might be wondering how much time you’ll need to spend with it before the credits roll. So, how long does it take to beat Trek to Yomi?

A single playthrough of Trek to Yomi is likely to take most players about five hours. It might vary a little, however, depending on how much time is spent seeking out upgrades and collectibles. How many times you die, which returns you to your last checkpoint, will also have an impact on the time to beat.

However: if you want to see and do everything the game has to offer, it will take 15 hours or more to beat. There are three endings to discover, as well as multiple difficulty levels and many collectibles and upgrades to find.

It takes about five hours to simply beat the story of Trek to Yomi and witness one ending, then. But if you’re a true completionist, you might only consider it truly beaten after around 15 hours or more of play.
