Are you wondering how to run in Vampire: The Masquerade – Swansong? That walking speed is a bit slow, after all…
Since you’ll be spending a lot of time exploring environments in Vampire: The Masquerade – Swansong, varying your speed is important. Sometimes, you’ll want a careful, slow walk as you take care to scour every corner of the room you’re in. But at other times, you’ll want to get a bit of speed up as you move from one area to another. For those moments, you’ll want to know how to run.
Thankfully, you can – and it’s easy to do. To run in Vampire: The Masquerade – Swansong, simply press circle (or ‘B’ on a Xbox controller). You don’t need to hold it down – pressing it once toggles run on. Press it again to turn running off, and your character will return to a slower walking pace.
It’s important to note that there are some areas of the game where you can’t run. This is typically in small rooms or areas important to story progression. So if toggling run on doesn’t work, don’t worry – it’s probably just the area you’re in.
Once you’ve toggled on running by pressing the circle button, it’ll remain on until you turn it off. The game remembers your setting, too, so you won’t need to keep toggling it back on.
