How to Unlock Weapons in Sniper Elite 5

Sniper Elite 5

As you make your way through Sniper Elite 5, you’re going to want to expand, improve and customise your arsenal.

You can have three of your own guns equipped at any one time in Sniper Elite 5: a rifle, an assault weapon and a sidearm. You can also carry one enemy weapon as well, but it will be dropped if you perform certain actions or run out of ammo. In any case, when you first start playing you won’t have access to hardly any weapons at all, so how do you unlock the rest?

The answer, of course, is by simply playing. Every weapon in Sniper Elite 5 requires you to do something to unlock it. It might be to simply complete a mission in the game’s campaign, or complete a Kill List challenge. Simply select a weapon slot when you’re readying up for a mission or when you’re at a workbench, and you can scroll through the weapons in the game that can fill it, along with their unlock criteria.

The same goes for weapon customisations, too. Every single weapon in Sniper Elite 5 can be customised, tweaking its parameters to suit your needs. You can choose to make a sniper rifle more powerful but louder, for example, and make assault weapons more stable at the expense of rate of fire. Simply select a locked customisation part in the loadout menu to see what you have to do to make it available.
