Two The Quarry drops in one day? You are a lucky reader.
Following our own preview earlier today, publisher 2K Games has dropped a brand new gameplay overview trailer for The Quarry.
The trailer, which you can watch for yourself below, is 5 minutes and 45 minutes long. It gives us a glimpse of some never-before-seen gameplay, but perhaps most interesting is its narration from director Will Byles. Byles gives us a lowdown on how the gameplay works, introduces to the characters and provides a little more context of what we can expect from The Quarry.
It makes for interesting viewing and, following on from our own time with the game this week, it leaves us even more excited to play. In case you missed it, we published a hands-on preview today based on 45 minutes with the game. We came away very impressed, wondering if this might just be Supermassive Games’ best title yet.
Here’s what we had to say:
“As fans of Until Dawn and The Dark Pictures Anthology, it’s safe to say we’re very excited about The Quarry. Our time with the preview build has been brief, but it’s clear it has all the ingredients that have made Supermassive Games’ previous titles a success. And with it promising more choices and endings than ever before – as well as a suite of modes that allow you to enjoy it alone or with friends – we can’t wait to see what horrors it has in store for us.”
The Quarry is coming to PC and consoles on 10th June. While you wait, be sure to check out that new trailer below, and give our hands-on preview a read.
