Zombie Army 4’s Ragnarok DLC Will Bring the Dead War to an End

Zombie Army 4: Ragnarok

Zombie Army 4: Ragnarok has arrived! Chris Hemsworth is nowhere to be seen but this DLC will conclude its storyline.

WWII-era zombie shooter Zombie Army 4: Dead War didn’t exactly end on a cliff-hanger but the zombies, and their many Hell-spawned variants, were still shambling around. Ragnarok should see you flipping their fleshy off-switches for good, though we wouldn’t be surprised if Rebellion was already working on an as-yet-unannounced Zombie Army 5.

Ragnarok features a new two-part mission as well as new outfits for the characters and will have you shutting down the ominous sounding “Project Ragnarok”, slaughtering legions of the undead as you go. The mission will take you deep into Hell itself, doing the Doom Slayer himself proud.

The DLC is, however, not free. It’s priced at £12.99/$14.99 and, naturally, requires the original Zombie Army 4: Dead Army. The game is, however, currently on sale on the the PlayStation Store for £9.99/$12.99 with PlayStation Plus and £11.99/$14.99 without.

On top of the paid DLC, which is out now, there’s also a new free horde map available, the “Death Collector” map, available to all Zombie Army 4: Dead Army owners. You can check out the non work-safe trailer here and if you’re not already knee deep in the dead you can pick up the game on PS4, Xbox One, PC, Nintendo Switch and Google Stadia.

Weekend Editor // Chris has been gaming since the days of the Acorn Electron, which was allegedly purchased to 'help him with his homework'. You can probably guess how well that went. He’ll tackle most genres – football titles aside – though he has a taste for games that that are post-apocalyptic, horror-oriented or thought provoking in nature.
