This War of Mine is a simulation game that sees you taking on the role of one or more survivors in a fictional war-torn country. Living in crumbling buildings, you’ll need to fight to stay alive, keeping yourself warm and fed. That means scavenging often dangerous locations for food and resources. Survival is tough, and sickness, injury – or, worse, even death – can come all too easily.
We’ve played This War of Mine and its expansions multiple times on multiple formats. Despite its bleak premise, it’s a game that just keeps pulling us back in. The Complete Edition of the game – the version you’re getting here for less than $2 – bundles in all DLC, including the Anniversary Edition update, The Little Ones DLC and This War of Mine: Stories.
