June is here and with it comes four new Xbox Games With Gold titles, available to Xbox Live Gold or Xbox Game Pass Ultimate Subscribers.
So which games have joined Xbox Games With Gold this June? Right now, you can pick up Aven Colony for Xbox One and Super Meat Boy for Xbox 360. Both titles are, thanks to backwards compatibility, are also playable on Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S.
Aven Colony is a city builder that sees you colonising an alien planet, while Super Meat Boy is a challenging but fun platformer. We’ve not dabbled in the former but we can confirm that Super Meat Boy is worth diving into. Its sequel made our list of toughest games on Switch, so don’t expect an easy ride. Aven Colony is available from now until June 30th, while Super Meat Boy runs from now until June 15th.
From June 16th you can pick up Project Highrise: Architect’s Edition (available till July 15th) and Raskulls (available till June 30th). We’ve not played platformer Raskulls, but we absolutely loved Project Highrise, a spiritual sequel to Sim Tower which has you crafting and running your own massive office or residential buildings.

- Project Highrise: Architect’s Edition – Xbox One (June 16th to July 15th)

Yes, Project Highrise will be available until the middle of July, but given that June’s PlayStation Plus offerings start on June 7th, we’ll let Microsoft have this one.
