In other words, the planet you’re on in Starship Troopers: Terran Command is deadly and dangerous, and building turrets is one way you can be prepared.
You’ll need an Engineer unit to build a turret in Terran Command. They’re displayed with a fire emblem. Turrets must be built on a hard surface, and you’ll need to ensure you have enough war support available to build them. You can work out whether you have enough war support by checking the bottom of your screen. To the left of the unit inform, you’ll see an eagle icon. That’s your war support.
Hard surfaces to build turrets on in Starship Troopers: Terran Command are typically easy to spot. They appear as tarmac or cement as opposed to the sandy dunes of the wasteland.
You can build HMG turrets straight away (unless a particular mission restricts them) but you’ll need the requisite building before you can build more powerful turrets. For instance, a rocket turret requires a Rocket Depot to be built.
