How to Change Server in Diablo Immortal

Diablo Immortal

When you start playing Diablo Immortal, you’re automatically assigned a random server. But how can you change this? Here’s what you need to know.

Diablo Immortal has dozens of different servers, and the one you find yourself on will be random when you start the game. You can change servers, and we’ll tell you how. But there are also restrictions and limitations to this.

To change server in Diablo Immortal, head to the main menu. (If you’re currently in a game, select ‘leave game’.). Under the title in the middle of the screen, you’ll see the name of your server. Click this to bring up a list of all available servers, and choose the one you want to switch to.

It’s as simple as that. However, if you’ve already made a character, that character is tied to whatever server it was created on. You cannot transfer characters from one server to another in Diablo ImmortalThat’s bad news if you’ve got quite far and want to switch.

And why might you want to change server in Diablo Immortal? Well, to play with friends you need to be on the same server as them. So if you’re wanting to team up, you’ll want to ensure you all join the same server before creating a character. If you’ve already been playing the game, you’ll need to all create a new character on the server of your choice.

That’s all there is to know. It’s easy to change servers, but you can’t move existing characters. And you need to be on the same server as a friend before you can play together.
