Wondering how to heal your character in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge? Here’s everything you need to know.
It’s easy to take damage in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge, and so it’s important you know how to heal. There’s always a lot of action going on around the screen, and when there’s a lot of enemies around you, avoiding damage altogether is easier said than done. Thankfully, there’s a couple of things you can do to replenish your health.
How to heal in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge
Healing in Shredder’s Revenge is easy. If you’ve seen Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles before – and of course you have, otherwise you probably wouldn’t be playing – you’ll know that those turtle dudes are obsessed with pizza. It’ll come as so surprise, then, to learn that health pick-ups come in the form of pizza.
You’ll find a few pizza pick-ups in each level. They come in two forms: a standard pizza, which heals only the character that picks it up, and a large pizza, which heals all players. They’re often hidden in environmental items, so you’ll want to smash stuff as you make your way through a level.
If you’re on a hoverboard level, pizza boxes typically appear floating in the air, giving you only a limited window of time to grab one.
If you’re playing Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge in co-op you can also heal by cheering up your fellow players.
How to cheer up friends in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge
The cheering-up mechanic is probably one of our favourite things about Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge. It’s also a very handy way of healing. Cheering someone up means giving them a couple of health points. It’s great if a friend is very low on health, but make sure you have enough to spare first.
Simply approach the player you want to cheer up, and press the left shoulder button (L1/LB). Your characters will high five each other, and two points of health will be transferred.
That’s it; that’s everything you need to know about healing in Shredder’s Revenge. Have fun out there, and cowabunga!
