Wondering if you can move and attack at the same time in Starship Troopers: Terran Command? Here’s what you need to know.
Run and gun. It rhymes so it must be good. In fact, it’s probably the best way to move from A to B in Starship Troopers: Terran Command. You want to get where you’re going without leaving a trace of alien Aranichd activity.
Moving in Starship Troopers: Terran Command is very simple. When you have unit/s selected, just right-click where you want to go. Your chosen troop will move there. Easy. However, if they meet enemies along the way, they’ll simply run through or past them. This can lead to troops being completely decimated by attacks that they’re not retaliating on.
Here’s the good news: your troops in Starship Troopers: Terran Command can perform Attack Move. With that action, they travel to the selected location, but also attack anything in their path. Perfect! To use Attack Move, simply use Ctrl + Right Click. You can also use [A] and right click, but we found this didn’t always work for us.
One thing to be aware of when using Attack Move in Starship Troopers: Terran Command is the varied range of units. You may have difficulty using Attack Move with snipers in particular; we’ve had them spot enemies far away on the edge of the map, and rather than moving, they’ll stay put, trying to shoot them. It can leave units isolated and vulnerable, so watch out for that happening.
