Wondering how to team up with friends to play Diablo Immortal? Here’s everything you need to know.
You can dive into Diablo Immortal completely by yourself, of course, but like all Diablo games, it’s perhaps more enjoyable when you’ve got some company. And so, if you want to play Diablo Immortal with friends, teaming up is fairly easy. As long as you’ve taken the right steps beforehand.
Important: before you try to play Diablo Immortal with friends, ensure you’re all on the same server. You can’t transfer characters between servers, so you may all need to create a new character. To find out more about switching servers, click here.
Providing you and your friends are all on the same server, then, playing together is fairly straightforward. Before you can team up, however, you each need to have played through Diablo Immortal‘s opening section. This takes you as far as Wortham, where you first meet Deckard Cain. After that point, you’re free to team up. Here’s what you’ll need to do.
- Enter a game, then click the options button. Navigate to the ‘friends’ icon.
- There, you’ll see a list of all of your current Battle.net friends. If you’re not already friends, click the ‘Add Friend’ button and input your friends’ Battletag. A Battletag is typically formatted as ‘Barbarian#1234’ – i.e. a word followed by a number.
- Once they’re on your friends list, simply click their icon, then choose “Invite to Party”.
That’s it: you’re now teamed up with your friends, and you can play together!
