Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, the gloriously absurd Borderlands 3 spin-off, lands on the Steam Store tomorrow.
“Hang on,” you might be thinking, “Didn’t Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands come out in March?” It did, taking players on ridiculous journey through an over-the-top fantasy land, guided by the titular Tiny Tina. Given that it’s based on Borderlands 3, you’re blasting enemies rather than slashing them to bits but we still had a blast with it, saying that it might be developer Gearbox’s best game to date.
But, while it hit PlayStation and Xbox, it bypassed the Steam Store, launching on PC via the Epic Games Store. Now that exclusivity window is up, it’s hitting Steam and, like the Epic Store version, will be available in two flavours.
You can pick up the standard edition for $59.99 or the Chaotic Great Edition for $79.99. The latter version comes with the Dragon Lord Pack and the Season Pass which, in turn, entitles you to four pieces of Mirrors of Mystery DLC (two out now, one launching tomorrow, one coming later), as well as a new special class that’s yet to be released.
You can purchase the Season Pass for $29.99 so you’re saving $10.00 but we’re not absolute convinced it’s worth it. We haven’t tackled every piece of content but we were definitely disappointed by the Coiled Captors DLC.
If the Tiny Tina’s Epic Store exclusivity has put you off, you only have to wait till tomorrow when you can purchase Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands from the Steam Store. As Tiny Tina would put it herself, “Squishy. Squishy squishy squishy.” Wise words indeed.
