Check Out July’s PlayStation Plus Premium and Extra Games

PlayStation Plus Extra July 2022

Here’s what’s coming to PlayStation Plus Premium and Extra this July!

Confused? We don’t blame you. Before Sony decided to merge PlayStation Plus and PlayStation Now, you’d get two distinct announcements, usually at the beginning of the month. But now, if you’re a PlayStation Plus Premium or Extra tier subscriber, you can look forward to those tiers’ games being announced in one big lump, as from this month.

So what, then can you get your hands on? There are several games on offer, all available from June 19th. Stray in particular stands out as a game we’ve had our eye for a while. It casts you as a cat lost in a city full of robots; it’s a cool premise and, besides which, cats are awesome. It’s also a Day 1 release, meaning you can get it on the day of release, which is July 19th.

On top of that, Marvel’s Avengers and Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade are also arriving; both are worth playing but the latter is an absolutely must if you’ve the slightest interest in JRPGs.

On top of that, the following will released on July 19th.

  • Assassin’s Creed Unity | PS4
  • Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag | PS4
  • Assassin’s Creed Rogue Remastered | PS4
  • Assassin’s Creed Freedom Cry | PS4
  • Assassin’s Creed: The Ezio Collection | PS4
  • Saints Row IV: Re-Elected | PS4
  • Saints Row Gat out of Hell | PS4
  • Spirit of the North: Enhanced Edition | PS5
  • Ice Age: Scrat’s Nutty Adventure | PS4
  • Jumanji The Video Game | PS4
  • Paw Patrol on a Roll! | PS4
  • ReadySet Heroes | PS4

If you’re an Assassin’s Creed fan you’re in for a treat but Saints Row IV is also a blast, particularly with the new Saints Row arriving soon.

Finally, if you’re a Premium subscriber, on top of all those titles you also get access to couple of retro games –

  • No Heroes Allowed! (PSP)
  • LocoRoco Midnight Carnival (PSP)

In short, if you’e already got a gaming backlog, look forward to having it doubled. At the very least, get ready to take Stray for a spin.
