Amazon UK’s Prime Day is here, bringing with it some rather respectable savings. We’ve picked out some of the gaming deals that are worthy of your attention.
Prime Day – or, technically, Prime Days, since the offers span the 12th and 13th of July – is a great chance to get a bargain. At the very least, you should be able to save a few pounds here and there. It’s also the time when Twitter fills up with Transformers jokes but we’ll try and steer clear of those for now.
Prime Day finishes at midnight on July 13th so, in theory, these deals should be available till then. In practice, if stocks run out, that’s the deal effectively finished. These are currently available through Amazon UK (Amazon US has its own set of Prime Deals). Here are our picks, all of which require an active Amazon Prime subscription.
- PlayStation 5 DualSense Cosmic Red Wireless Controller – £44.99
- LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga Classic Character DLC Edition (Xbox One / Xbox Series X|S) – £31.99
- Halo Infinite (Xbox One / Xbox Series X|S) – £14.99.
- Far Cry 6 Limited Edition (PlayStation 4) – £9.99
- Seagate Storage Expansion Card for Xbox Series X|S 1TB (Xbox Series X|S)- £164.99
- WD_BLACK SN850 1TB Gaming SSD (suitable for PlayStation 5) – £96.89
- Assassin’s Creed Valhalla (PlayStation 5) – £14.99
Halo Infinite and Far Cry 6 are an absolute steal, though the disc version of Halo Infinite does download the single player campaign from the internet (only the multiplayer version is on the disc).
On top of that, there are free PC games to be had. Prime Gaming has given away a large number of freebies, outside of their usual monthly offerings. From now until tomorrow, you can nab the PC version of Mass Effect Legendary Edition for zero pennies and zero pence. And if that’s not a bargain, we don’t know what is.
