Dead by Daylight and Attack on Titan are.. not two properties we’d normally put together, but it’s definitely happening.
Sure, asymmetric multiplayer game Dead by Daylight and anime series Attack on Titan both feature a lot of murder. But your average Titan, the latter’s monstrous antagonists, are much, much larger than even the bulkiest of Dead by Daylight’s killers.
Still, as was revealed through Dead by Daylight’s roadmap, the crossover is happening and now we know it’s taking the form of costumes. Aside from tweeting out a thoroughly menacing image, Behaviour has confirmed that purchasing two costumes will entitle you to a cosmetic charm.
The charms do look rather cool, resembling the logos of Attack on Titan’s various military divisions. There’s also a particularly creepy non-military one which shows a Titan’s face peeking through a hole in the wall. Why? You’ll have to watch till at least the end of Season 1 to find out.

Behaviour has, however, yet to reveal any of the actual outfits though there has been the odd rumoured leak floating around. So, as far as we know, the crossover will be entirely cosmetic. It’s a little disappointing that you won’t be able to use vertical manoeuvring gear to fly across the level but that’d all but break the game.
Dead by Daylight is available on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PC, Google Stadia and Xbox Game Pass.
