Each month, Prime Gaming Subscribers get at least four new PC games to keep. But this July, things are a little bit different.
That’s not to say Amazon is leaving Amazon Prime subscribers in the lurch. Being an Amazon Prime subscriber makes you a member of Prime Gaming, even if you’ve never used it and, again, if you’re a Prime Subscriber you’re getting four free games this July.
The PC games that are arriving as part of Prime Gaming’s monthly line-up are:
- Maniac Mansion – a classic Lucasarts point-and-click adventure.
- Suzerain – a text-based RPG where you run a small country.
- Fishing: North Atlantic – a fishing game that does exactly what it says on the tin.
- Fell Seal: Arbiter’s Mark – a tactical turn-based RPG set in a slightly Steampunk world.
They’re all available right now and while we haven’t tackled the latter three we can heartily recommend Maniac Mansion, prequel to Day of the Tentacle. Its one of Lucasarts’ first adventure games and, sporting some wonderfully absurd humour, will keep you challenged and amused.
But that’s not all. Prime Day takes place this month, when Amazon delivers some real “bargains”. Why the quote marks? Because as anyone who’s worked in retail knows, most offline sales are carefully managed and Amazon has almost certainly gone over their upcoming offerings with a fine-toothed comb. Will you save money? Probably. Are you going to get the bargain of the century? We very much doubt it. But you will be getting even more free games.
This #PrimeDay, Prime members can grab 30+ games for FREE! We've got even MOAR coming on the 12th, so stay tuned! 👀

For a start, they’re giving away a massive thirty free indie PC games on top of this month’s offerings. All of those titles, which you can find listed here, are available right now.
Also, you can nab Mass Effect Legendary Edition and several other PC games later this July. Those bonus titles are available on Prime Day, or rather Prime Days, July 12th and 13th. The games are:
- GRID Legends
- Mass Effect Legendary Edition
- Need for Speed Heat
- Star Wars Jedi Knight — Jedi Academy
- Star Wars Jedi Knight II — Jedi Outcast
- Star Wars Republic Commando
So, right now, you can get 34 free PC games and, if you check in on July 12th, you can get another four. Gaming backlog? What gaming backlog?
