Win a Thorified Xbox With Microsoft’s Thor: Love and Thunder Competition

Thor Love and Thunder Xbox

Fancy winning a ridiculously fancy special edition Thor Xbox Series X? Microsoft are running a competition to let you do just that.

We say “win”, but the truth is that this Thor Xbox looks so fantastic we’d consider paying good money to get our hands on it. Admittedly, the handle might make it hard to fit behind the TV, but we could more than live with it.

What are we on about? Just what’s so special about this Thor-themed Xbox Series X?  In short, everything. Instead of just slapping a “Love and Thunder” decal on it, Microsoft and whichever wizard crafted this have gone the whole hog.

The body of the Xbox Series X resembles Mjolnir, the shattered hammer that turns up, wielded by Natalie Portman, in the new Thor: Love and Thunder movie, complete with decalled-on/drawn-on cracks. Then there’s a massive handle that, while it presumably does nothing, looks ridiculously awesome.

So how do you get your hands on this marvellous Mjolnir Xbox? It’s as simple as going to Microsoft’s tweet, following the Xbox account and then retweeting it (provided you’re over 18). There’s no purchase required and, while we’d advise you read the rules here it’s not a USA-only competition. The competition is open now and ends 8:00 p.m. PT on Thursday, July 21st, 2022.

So what’s the catch? Unfortunately, there’s only one Thor Xbox Series X available to win. And, as cool as the picture looks, we suspect it’s a render rather than an actual photograph of the final Xbox so there could, potentially, be cosmetic differences. But, let’s face it, you’ve got nothing to lose.

He’ll tackle most genres – football titles aside – though he has a taste for games that that are post-apocalyptic, horror-oriented or thought provoking in nature.
