Evil West has been delayed by two months, so you’re going to have to wait a little longer if you want to slaughter bloodsuckers and beasts in the Old West.
Well, unless you dig up Darkwatch, that is, an FPS that as we pointed out in 2020, has a lot in common with Evil West. Both games see you, a grim-faced black-clad gunslinger taking on monsters, though this title opts for a third person perspective.
Original pencilled in for a September 20th release, the game is now arriving this November 22nd, a delay of two months. The delay was announced yesterday by developers Flying Wild Hog, posted through their official Twitter account.
“Giving our game more polish is crucial to provide or players with not only good but also lasting memories… to ensure that the game reaches its full potential we have made the decision to delay the worldwide launch of Evil West to November 22nd, 2022,” reads the statement.
It’s a relatively short delay compared to titles such as Hogwarts Legacy and Deliver Us Mars, both of which have been pushed to 2023. We hope that it genuinely is a case of adding a little polish and that Flying Hog’s employees won’t be crunching for two whole months.
So, barring further delays, Evil West will launch this November 22nd, riding out onto PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series S/X, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. In the meantime, you can wishlist Evil West on Steam and check out the extended gameplay trailer above.
