How to Develop Romances in Two Point Campus

Wondering how to develop romances in Two Point Campus? Don’t worry – here’s everything you need to know.

No, Two Point Campus hasn’t turned into The Sims. You don’t have to manipulate every area of your students’ lives. But you do occasionally have to meet some social goals from time to time, and one of them involves encouraging your students to date one another. Thankfully, it’s rather easy to develop romances in Two Point Campus. It’s pretty much a case of sitting back and watching.

To ignite a spark of romance, you first need to ensure you have relevant social items dotted around the common areas of your campus. Friendship items include benches, social tables and water coolers. These are areas where students will gather, chat, and get to know each other. And we all know that good relationships start out as friendships, right?

But to take things to the next level, you need to have a romantic item or two for your students to access. In the shop, you’ll find something called a ‘Love Trumpet’. You’ll want to place a few of these around campus. They encourage your students to get flirty with one another and, ultimately, develop romances.

Unfortunately, you’re not going to see any making out or Sims-style ‘woohoo’ in the dorm rooms. This is a tasteful game, after all! But you can take pleasure in knowing that you’ve injected a bit of romance into your students’ busy lives.

Editor in chief // Kim's been into video games since playing Dizzy on her brother's Commodore 64 as a nipper. She'll give just about anything a go, but she's got a particular soft spot for indie adventures. If she's not gaming, she'll be building Lego, reading a thriller, watching something spooky or... asleep. She does love to sleep.
