How to Tow an Object or Vehicle in Saints Row

Saints Row review

There are numerous reasons why you might want to tow a vehicle or object in Saints Row.

It might be to complete a mission or activity. Or it might just be to use it as a weapon, flinging it around behind you like a wrecking ball. But as the game doesn’t explain it very well, you might be wondering how you tow in Saints Row.

To tow a vehicle or object in Saints Row, you first need a vehicle equipped with a towing cable. You can find them out in the world if you want – just look out for a tow truck which is sure to have one. Your best bet though, is to take a vehicle to Jim Rob’s or the garage at your HQ and have a towing cable attached. Just go to the Equipment section, and you’ll see you can add a towing cable for $7,500.

Once you have a vehicle equipped with a towing cable, it’s easy to tow an object or vehicle in Saints Row. Simply get near to the vehicle or object you want to tow, then press the right shoulder button. This will change your view so that you can see behind your vehicle, and also bring up the towing guide. Simply line up your vehicle so that the towing guide is within the vehicle or object you want to tow, then press the right shoulder button again to attach the cable.

You should be aware, however, that you can only tow vehicles or objects that turn green when the towing guide touches them. That means while you can pretty much tow all vehicles, there are few objects you can interact with. Once you’re done towing a vehicle or object, simply press the right shoulder button again to disconnect your cable.
