Like most open world games these days, Saints Row has a very large map.
While it’s generally fun making your way from one place to another, either on foot, in a vehicle or via wingsuit, sometimes you just want to be somewhere in an instant. Thankfully Saints Row has a fast travel system just for that, but it isn’t explained very well so you might now know how to get the best out of it. So, how do you fast travel in Saints Row?
To fast travel in Saints Row, all you need to do is open up the map via your phone, select a fast travel point with your cursor, and then hit the confirm button. The problem is, chances are the only place you’ll find that you can fast travel to is your HQ, the church. To fast travel to other places on the map, you’re going to have to put some work in.
If you open up the map, you’ll find that activities, side hustles etc. are all colour-coded. What you want to look for are orangish icons that look like they have buses on them. These are fast travel points that you can unlock. If you travel to these points, you’ll find that they have large “El Dorado” signs near them – take a photo of the sign, and it will be unlocked as a fast travel point.
It’s unfortunate that you can’t fast travel to things like your ventures in Saints Row, but at least being able to unlock fast travel points across Santa Ileso is somewhat helpful. So, whenever you’re near an El Dorado sign, make sure you take a snap of it to make getting around easier in the future.
