A Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered mod will let you play as Uncle Ben….’s gravestone.
No, we’re not making this up. We knew there’d be some wild modes when Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered hit the PC (check out our review here), but we never in a million year imagined this. The mod, simple titled “Become Uncle Ben” swaps out your character for Uncle Ben’s gravestone, normally located in the game’s Harlem Cemetery. Still, guess you can’t do much as a gravestone, right.
Wrong. Uncle Ben’s gravestone is surprisingly animated, capable of beating the living hell out of foe after foe. Yes, the gravestone doesn’t quite touch all the foes, given that it’s shorter than the model it replaces, but it’s wild to watch this ridiculous mod in action.
We have The Gamer to thank for bringing this to our attention; as they point out, there’s another grave you can also play as, though if you click through that link, be warned of spoilers. All you need to play this mod is Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered (the PC port of the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 smash) and a dark sense of humour.
