A Plague Tale: Requiem’s New Story Trailer is Suitably Grim

A Plague Tale: Requiem

We’re less than a month away from the release of A Plague Tale: Requiem, and to whet our appetites, publisher Focus Entertainment has released a new story trailer.

This is the sequel to 2018’s A Plague Tale: Innocence, the story of Amicia and her young brother Hugo, trying to survive in a plague-ridden land. But Hugo isn’t any normal boy: it seems he possesses an ancient power of controlling the plagues of rats that dominate the land. It’s a power that certain people want to see wiped out.

A Plague Tale: Requiem picks up some time after the events of the first game, with Amicia and Hugo still struggling to survive in any way they can. It seems that more people have come to learn of Hugo’s power, putting the pair in even more danger than before.

We get to see a brand new area, the picturesque island of La Cuna. Although if what we see in the trailer is anything to go by, it doesn’t stay very picturesque for long.

You can watch the trailer for A Plague Tale: Requiem above. Needless to say, we’re excited to get our hands on it. We very much enjoyed the first game (you can read our review by clicking here) and so we’re eager to see how Hugo and Amicia’s journey continues.
