There’s a PlayStation State of Play Tomorrow Evening

PlayStation State of Play September 2022

We’re being spoiled tomorrow.

Earlier on, Nintendo announced a Nintendo Direct being aired tomorrow morning. And now, Sony is getting in on the action. This evening, it’s announced a State of Play is scheduled to go out tomorrow evening.

State of Play will be livestreamed on both YouTube and Twist at 3pm PT/6pm ET/11pm BST. It’s to line up with Tokyo Game Show which kicks off this week, and so we can expect a focus Japanese studios and the games they are working on.

We know the State of Play will last around 20 minutes. So not massively long, but long enough to get some (hopefully) exciting new announcements out there. As outlined on the PlayStation Blog, it will focus on “reveals, new updates, and fresh gameplay footage for 10 games.”

Along with games for PS4 and PS5, we’ll get a look at some titles coming to PSVR 2 ahead of its launch in early 2023.

Make sure you tune in: it’ll be steamed live on Sony’s official Twitch and YouTube channels. And we’ll have any exciting announcements here, so be sure to pop back.
