Wondering how to complete the quest called The Heart of Dreamlight Valley in Disney Dreamlight Valley? Here’s what you need to know.
The Heart of Dreamlight Valley is a quest handed to you by Moana’s Maui when you reach friendship level 10. Talk to him, and he’ll give you some limestone and tools to clean it. Go clean it at your workbench, then go back to Maui.
Turns out that, under the lime, was a shard. There should be another half to the shard you’ve uncovered, and Maui seems to think it’s near the fountain at the top of the castle. Head inside the castle and climb all the stairs – you should see a shard on the floor next to the fountain. Pick it up, then head back to Maui. Talk to him again, and he’ll suggest talking to Merlin.
Find Merlin, and you’ll need to find some ingredients:
- 3 purified night shards
- 1 water from Forgotten Lands
- 1 water from Frosted Heights
For each purified night shard, you’ll need five night shards and one dream shard. As for the water? Simply head to the edge of a lake or river in both Frosted Heights and Forgotten Lands, and you’ll find a number of sparkling patches. Interact with them, and you’ll collect the water.
Once you’ve got all the ingredients, go and craft the Heart of Dreamlight Valley at your workbench. When it’s done, talk to Maui who will ask you to place the heart in the hand of the statue in the castle. Head back up to the top of the castle and interact with the fountain. That’s it! Talk to Maui, and you’re done.
You’ve now been told that darkness will have a harder time spreading through the village. Cool.
