Wondering how to unlock Scar, the newest character to arrive in Disney Dreamlight Valley? Here’s what you need to know.
The first, most important step to unlock Scar in Disney Dreamlight Valley is to ensure your game is updated to the latest version. You’ll know when you load it up if it has: there’s a new loading screen featuring the mean old lion that is Scar.
You also need to have made a suitable amount of progress through the story in Disney Dreamlight Valley before Scar becomes available. First, you’ll need to have completed ‘The Curse’ quest, which saw you fixing the pillars of Friendship, Courage, Trust and Power. You also need to have spent Dreamlight to open up the Sunlit Plateau area.
If you’ve been playing Disney Dreamlight Valley quite a lot, chances are you’ve already done these things. But if not, continue working through quests until you’ve fixed the four pillars. And save up your Dreamlight to unlock the Sunlit Plateau.
Providing those things are done, you’ll be greeted with a new quest: Nature & Nurture. You’ll need to step foot inside Scar’s home – the large skull in the Elephant Graveyard section of Sunlit Plateau. Talking to him will start the mission. It’ll also unlock Scar as a new character. From this point onwards, you can talk to Scar, give him gifts, and choose to hang out with him.
