Are you wondering how long it takes to complete The Dark Pictures Anthology: The Devil in Me? Here’s what you need to know.
The fourth instalment of The Dark Pictures Anthology is, in our opinion at least, the best so far. You can read our review to find out why. It’s also the longest. That’s right: each entry into the series has been a little longer than the one that came before it. And, four games in, The Devil in Me is the longest yet.
Your running time may differ, but as for how long it took us to beat The Devil in Me, our in-game time clocked in at just over eight hours. However, we lost some characters early on. Had they stayed alive longer, we’d have likely had more scenes, and therefore a slightly longer running time.
How long it takes you to complete The Devil in Me will also depend on how much time you spend exploring. This is far from an open world game, but there’s still opportunity to poke around in certain environments, finding the odd secret. If you like to try and find everything, your own run time will indeed be a little longer.
So: depending on your play style and how many characters you have remaining, expect to spend anywhere from seven to nine hours with The Devil in Me before seeing the credits roll. And take our word for it: you’ll spend much of those 7-9 hours on the edge of your seat.
