Played Marsupilami: Hoobadventure? Then get ready to jump back in because The Hidden World DLC throws dinosaurs into the mix.
Aside from having the best name of any game, Marsupilami: Hoobadventure is a lot of fun. Yes, it has some awkward difficulty spikes, as we pointed out on in our review, but platform fans will still get a big kick out of it. Now, The Hidden World, a free expansion, adds ten new dinosaur-laden levels.
Out now, the DLC sees your marsupial trio roaming around The Hidden World, a forgotten kingdom where dinosaurs and other creatures still dwell. Given that the game’s based on a comic strip, your trio probably won’t get bitten in half by T-Rex but it may feature a few close shaves.
Dinosaurs aside, you’ll get to swing around a forgotten temple, a coastal city, a thick jungle and much more. The driving force behind this adventure is that your animals are stupid, sarcophagus-opening idiots. They discovered just such a vessel on the beach, opened it, as you do, and now a ghost has cursed all the animals. So it’s down to them, or rather you, to sort it all out.
The DLC is out now across all platforms, absolutely free. It will require the full Marsupilami: Hoobadventure game which is available on PS4, Xbox One, Switch and PC. But if you’ve been craving more marsupial shenanigans, what have you got to lose?
