Christmas Kicks Off in Core Keeper Next Week

Core Keeper Christmas update

From 13th December, Core Keeper players have a whole host of Christmas-themed updates to look forward to.

For three weeks, the festive season will hit the world of Core Keeper, with brand new Christmas content and plenty of holiday-themed activities to get involved in. Developer Pugstorm says that this is the “most expansive seasonal event yet”, and so we’re excited to jump in.

So, what exactly do we have to look forward to? Well, your Core Keeper base can be turned into a fantastic Christmas grotto with Christmas lights, holiday-themed furniture and presents, all of which can be crafted from a new Christmas workbench. You can craft your own Christmas tree and dress yourself up as a gingerbread man or don a snowman hat.

Even some of Core Keeper‘s enemies will get a Christmas facelift, because even baddies can get down with the festive spirit. There’s a new seasonal merchant, too, and snowball fights are well and truly on the menu if you’re playing with others.

It’s not just all about Christmas: Core Keeper has thought about New Year celebrations, too. You’ll be able to put on your own fireworks display to ring in 2023. And you’ve got a few days to do so, too. All of the festive content will stay live in Core Keeper until 5th January 2023.

If all that sounds fun, don’t miss out. The festive update will drop in Core Keeper on 13th December. Look out for our impressions of the new update next week.

Kim's been into video games since playing Dizzy on her brother's Commodore 64 as a wee nipper. She'll give just about anything a go, but she's got a soft spot for story-driven adventures and open world escapades. If she's not gaming, she's probably cooing over pictures of baby animals or watching re-runs of Friends for the 137th time.
