Glass Onion’s Benoit Blanc Has Joined Among Us

Among Us Glass Onion

Glass Onion and Among Us have joined forces, letting players step into the shoes of detective Benoit Blanc. Well, that’s the game ruined for sure.

Because, let’s face it, even the most careful Among Us impostor won’t stand a chance against Blanc’s detective skills. He divined the true events of Knives Out and, while we’ve not seen Glass Onion, you can bet that he brought that mystery movie to a satisfactory and just conclusion.

Luckily, Among Us’s latest addition is an outfit, a collaboration with Netflix, rather than some new super-detective class. Yes, people will probably end up role-playing as Blanc, but don’t panic if you see a player clad in that outfit. They’re no smarter than the player behind them, though you can bet we’re going see if the outfit persuades people we’re not an impostor.

The outfit has already been added to the asymmetric social deduction game, and is available until January 10th 2023. However, once you’ve logged in to claim it, the cosmetic should permanently be part of your account. Remember, Benoit Blanc is always watching.

However, that’s not the only reason to dive back into Among Us. The game has recently added a Hide and Seek mode which we’re very happy about. That’s not because we’re big fans, but rather it’ll stop people trying to turn regular games into hide-and-seek.

If you’ve not played Among Us before, it’s out on Android, iOS, PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation and Xbox. It’s free on the former two platforms and relatively cheap on the rest. And if you are new to the game, check out our guide on how to play and win.

As for the Netflix-distributed Glass Onion? It’s out now at cinemas and will, along with prequel Knives Out, come to Netflix this December 23rd.

Chris has been gaming since the days of the Acorn Electron, which was allegedly purchased to 'help him with his homework'. You can probably guess how well that went. He’ll tackle most genres – football titles aside – though he has a taste for games that that are post-apocalyptic, horror-oriented or thought provoking in nature.
