When you’re at level 7 friendship with Woody in Disney Dreamlight Valley, you can complete the Wanted: Aliens mission. Here’s how to do it.
In Woody’s previous mission, he accidentally blew up the contents of his carousel, including the Aliens claw machine. Oh no! And so in this Disney Dreamlight Valley mission, Wanted: Aliens, it’s your job to help Woody make a new claw machine. To start the mission, make sure you’re up to level 7 friendship, then talk to Woody.
The first part of the mission is – as so often is the case – to gather materials. Here’s what you’ll need to make a new claw machine:
- 10x hardwood
- 2x iron ingot
- 12x glass
Hardwood is easy enough: this is the darker shade of wood that you’ll find on the floor in Forest of Valor, Glade of Trust, Sunlit Plateau or Frosted Heights.
For the iron ingots, you’ll ned 10 pieces of iron ore. You can mine those from mining outcrops in Forest of Valor and Glade of Trust.
Finally, each piece of glass is crafted from 5x sand and 1x coal ore. You can gather sand from digging on the beach or mining the large stones that appear there. Alternatively, if you are level 10 friendship with Kristoff, you can buy glass from his stall.
Once you’ve got everything, craft the Claw Machine. You’ll find it in the ‘Functional Items’ section of the crafting menu. Then go talk to Woody inside his carousel. He’ll ask you to speak to Buzz. So that’s your next port of call.
Alien locations in Disney Dreamlight Valley
Buzz will give you the general whereabouts of four missing Aliens, and it’s your job to go find them. Here’s where they are:
- Under Dazzle Beach’s sand: We found the alien to the right of the Forest of Valor entrance, on the way to the cave where you first met Ursula. Use your shovel to dig it out.
- Frozen in ice near a waterfall: Head to Frosted Heights. There’s a waterfall in the bottom left area of the map, with a bridge nearby. You’ll find the alien in a block of ice here. You’ll need to use your pickaxe on it.
- In the ground near the Giant Willow: Head to the Glade of Trust. The Giant Willow is the big tree where Mother Gothel lives. You’ll find an alien buried in the ground right next to it. Dig it out.
- In Scar’s Cave: Head to Scar’s cave in the Sunlit Plateau. You’ll find the alien laying on the ground.
Now you’ve found them all, return to Woody. That’s it! Mission Wanted: Aliens in Disney Dreamlight Valley is done.
