Injustice 2: Legendary Edition, which includes all the superhero beat-em-up’s DLC, is available at a knock-down price on PlayStation and Xbox.
We reviewed Injustice 2: Legendary Edition back in 2018, remarking that it doesn’t always pay to buy a game when it first comes out. We also noted that, with ten DLC fighters, it was pretty excellent value for money at £40/$50.
Now, it’s available as part of the current PlayStation and Xbox sales, an absolute steal at under £13. It has a massive roster of fighters including Superman, The Flash, Enchantress, Gorilla Grodd, Harley Quinn, Swamp Thing and many more, 38 fighters in all. The DLC pack also includes some curious additions including the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Hellboy.
So, if you’ve never played Injustice 2 or you’ve not picked it up on your current platform, you should absolutely snap this up. If you need further convincing of the game’s quality, know that it’s from NetherRealm Studios, who created the Mortal Kombat series. No, you can’t rip someone’s spleen out but you can hurl them into orbit. And the story mode is, unlike some other brawlers, well worth your time.
Could Injustice 3 be round the corner? We’d like to think so, but NetherRealm have been cagey about whether they’re working on that, Mortal Kombat 12 or, as has been rumoured, a Marvel-based beat-em-up.
Injustice 2: Legendary Edition is £12.49 on the Xbox Store and £11.99 on the PlayStation Store. Or, if you’re in the US, it’s an even better deal at $8.99 on PlayStation 4 and $11.99 on Xbox One.
