PlayStation Plus Monthly Games include Mass Effect Legendary Edition and More

PlayStation Plus December 2022

It’s December and the next trio of monthly PlayStation Plus games is five days away.

Yes, you can open your advent calendars today but, as is typically the case, Sony’s monthly PlayStation Plus titles don’t arrive till December 6th. But, given that the line-up includes the excellent Mass Effect: Legendary Edition, we’ll forgive them.

Bioware’s superb sci-fi action-RPG is a fantastic game, even if the ending has proved very contentious. If you’ve never played it, you should dive right in. And if you have, why not give it a second playthrough? Just steer clear of space racists.

Aside from the Mass Effect trilogy, DVO: Divine Knockout and Biomutant are also on offer. Like Mass Effect, as long as you claim these titles before the new crop of titles arrive, you can play them any time you’ve got an active PlayStation Plus subscription. All these titles are available to all PlayStation Plus subscribers, whatever tier you’re on.

But are those last two any good? DVO: Divine Knockout isn’t out until December 6th – and is a day one on PlayStation Plus – so you’ll have to pass judgement on this platform brawler yourself. But BioMutant is a great post-apocalyptic tale, with an animal twist. You can check out our review here.

These games will be available from December 6th. Mass Effect: Legendary Edition is the PS4 version whereas the others are the PS4 and PS5 versions. And if you’ve not checked out last month’s PlayStation Plus monthly titles you’ve got till December 5th to nab them.
