Pupparazzi is coming to the Switch next year, bringing adorable dog photography to Nintendo’s platform.
That’s taking photographs of dogs, not dogs taking the photographs. Though now we think about it, that’s a great idea for a Pupparazzi sequel. You’re tasked with roaming a dog-heavy world and snapping away at just the best doggos and it’s an awful lot of fun.
We dove into it back in January, remarking that, “What Pupperazzi lacks in finesse, it makes up for in sheer numbers of doggos.” It’s got some rough edges but you get to snap pictures of so, so many dogs. And, of course, you can pet them to your hearts’ content.
In other words, if you’re the kind of person who melts when someone tweets a dog picture, this could be right up your street. Even if you’re not a dog fan, these virtual animals could melt your heart. There are surfing dogs, dogs on bikes and so much more to snap.
We’ve still got our fingers crossed for a cat-based follow-up, Pawparazzi maybe. But as cat owners know, getting them to sit still for just the right photograph can be a trial. As cat ownership trials go, it’s second only to giving them a pill.
Now, developed by Sundae Month and published by Kitfox Games, it’s set for a Switch release. There’s no news on any Switch-specific features, but we’d love a mode where you hold the console like a camera.
Pupperazzi will hit Switch early next year or if you can’t wait it’s out right now on PC and Xbox (Xbox Game Pass included).
