Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodhunt Patch Notes

These Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodhunt Patch Notes Reveal Some Big Changes

Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodhunt’s patch notes are here, revealing just what December’s update has in store.

It still hurts our brains that Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodhunt all but throws the masquerade out of the window. Yes, it’s important for humanity to remain unaware of the existence of vampires, so let’s have a big multiplayer brawl in the streets. Still, it’s actually fun and. as the patch notes reveal, it’s getting a tweak or five.

The game, which sees you unleashing your vampiric powers on other players, is free to play (check out our impressions here). So, yes, that means unlockable cosmetics but who wouldn’t want their vampire to look absolutely stylish? Well.. Nosferatu aside. So what does this new patch introduce?

The patch actually arrives tomorrow, but the Bloodhunt patch notes, which you can find here, give us an idea of what to expect. Here are some of the most significant changes:

  • There’s a new Ventrue archetype, the Warden, who can anchor their enemies to small area. They can still fight back but your foe will take damage if they roam too far.
  • A new permanent battle pass, the free Nemesis Pass, introduces a range of new unlockable cosmetics.
  • The game’s store is also now permanent.
  • You can dual wield a pair of daggers which poison your enemies and can also be thrown.
  • Dual crossbows have a reduced fire rate and the tommy gun now has a smaller spread.
  • Aim assist has been tweaked.
  • The main map, Prague, has been updated.

You can read the full Bloodhunt patch notes here, but if you’ve not played it in a while it’s a good reason to dive back in. And if you haven’t played it all, you can pick it up on PC and PlayStation 5. Just try not to let the humans know.
