Keeping your crew’s morale high in Tortuga – A Pirate’s Tale is important if you want to be successful. Here’s what you need to know.
The decisions you make while playing Tortuga – A Pirate’s Tale will directly impact your crew. And, if it’s not obvious, a happy crew is key to being a successful pirate in the Caribbean. You don’t want them to walk away from you, leaving you with nobody to man your ships, do you? Of course not. Thankfully, Tortuga – A Pirate’s Tale has a morale system that lets you know exactly how your crew is feeling.
You can see your crew’s morale at any time by checking the meter in the top right-hand corner of your screen. The higher the bar, the happier your crew is. If it’s low, you’re going to need to do something about it.
Winning battles and looting treasure is a sure-fire way to keep your crew happy. But if you lose a battle, their morale is going to plummet. Thankfully, there are a number of ways you can ensure their morale improves:
- Be sure to check the ‘Personal Log’ regularly to see what your crew thinks of you. It’ll allow you to see what areas of your captain career need to be addressed.
- Share out loot between your crew members regularly. To do this, you’ll need to dock into a port and visit a tavern. Ensure everyone gets a fair share: the more they get, the higher their morale will be.
- Ensure you’re meeting the goals set on your caper contract. Miss these, and your crew’s morale will plummet.
- Keep winning battles, completing missions and gathering loot!
Don’t worry too much if your crew’s morale drops low in Tortuga – A Pirate’s Tale. It’s easily rectified by following the tips above.
