Next Week, Deadpool Wisecracks His Way Into Midnight Suns

Midnight Suns Deadpool

Midnight Suns first piece of DLC pits Deadpool against vampires and it arrives next week.

Sadly, it won’t be Deadpool vs Dracula. Awww. But, going by the trailer, Midnight Suns will be giving the Merc With a Mouth a chance to shine. And, as you might expect, this turn-based superhero strategy game’s new DLC will feature a little fourth wall breaking.

The DLC, “The Good, the Bad and the Undead”, isn’t free but if you’re a fan of this ridiculous, regenerating anti-hero it could be well worth picking up. Aside from embarking on story missions – Deadpool himself is a fully recruitable hero – you’ll also have the dubious pleasure of hanging out with him. And yes, that includes seeing him chill in a hot-tub.

The content will also introduce new enemy types and new villains. Yes, we’ve still got our fingers crossed that Midnight Suns gives us some kind of Marvel Zombies content but we’ll definitely take vampires. Plus, we’re looking forward to watching Deadpool step on Blade’s toes.

Midnight Suns’ Deadpool DLC will arrive this January 26th, landing on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC. It’s included in the game’s season pass though you’ll also be able to buy it separately. You’ll need to have reached the point in the game where Spider-Man unmasks himself to play it, but that’s relatively early on in proceedings.

Chris has been gaming since the days of the Acorn Electron, which was allegedly purchased to 'help him with his homework'. You can probably guess how well that went. He’ll tackle most genres – football titles aside – though he has a taste for games that that are post-apocalyptic, horror-oriented or thought provoking in nature.
