Today, Saber Interactive has announced that its zombie action game World War Z: Aftermath is finally coming to PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. The current generation version of the game will launch on 24th January – alongside a brand new mode: Horde Mode XL.

The PS5 and Xbox Series X/S versions of World War Z will be available as a free upgrade to anyone who owns the respective previous generation version. Exact details of what the new version will entail have not been revealed, but we can expect higher resolutions and better visuals thanks to the power of the newer consoles.
