March’s new Nacon Connect promises to deliver the latest on Lord of the Rings: Gollum, Robocop: Rogue City and more.
Last year’s Nacon Connect also revealed that the company was working on an open-world Terminator game, so we’re hoping against hope this March’s gives us a glimpse of that. Though we’re still going to have to struggle with the shocking revelation that Nacon isn’t pronounced like bacon.
March’s Nacon Connect will feature 25 games, including, yes RoboCop: Rogue City, The Lord of the Rings: Gollum as well as Gangs of Sherwood, Ravenswatch and racer TT3: Ride on the Edge. We suspect a lot of eyes will be on Gollum – not just because it’s Lord of the Rings but because it’s been delayed several times.
We were pretty impressed last time we saw the game in action, but its release date is uncertain. According to Nacon’s financial report, it’s set for a 2023 release. However, Nacon hasn’t confirmed that publicly. So we’re expecting that this March’s showcase will, at the very least, give us a release window.
As for the open-world Terminator game? It’s possible, but it’s absent from Nacon’s official Nacon Connect announcement. We might get a glimpse of it but we’re expecting a 2024 release at the earliest.
