Stitch from Lilo and Stitch is now available as a resident in Disney Dreamlight Valley. But how do you get them to your valley? Here’s what you need to know.
You’ll first need to look for a mysterious stocking. We found it on Dazzle Beach, just to the left of the entrance to the Glade of Trust. It’s slimy, and it has the initials ‘DD’ sewn onto it. Donald Duck? The game seems to think so: we need to go talk to Donald Duck next, and that’s the first step to getting Stitch in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
Give the sock to Donald, and he’ll tell you that stuff has been going missing from his house. What’s more, he’s seen what be believes is a UFO streaking through the night sky. Hmm. Time to go to Donald’s house to investigate.
When you’re inside Donald’s House, you’ll need to remove some piles of trash. Simply interact with them to get rid of them. Then, you’ll find a ‘Strange Device’ on the floor. Pick it up, then talk to Donald.
It turns out the Strange Device reacts to the sock – and so it seems to belong to whoever stole the sock in the first place. You’re going to have to find more socks! But here’s the bad news: you’re going to have to wait a while before you can unlock Stitch in Disney Dreamlight Valley. More socks will take a day or so to turn up, and so this is one of those drawn-out quests that we need to be patient with.
The Second Sock
Once you’ve waited, another sock will appear in the village. For us, it was near a pond in the Meadow, close to Goofy’s house. And, strangely enough, the sock has a “G” on it. Does it belong to Goofy? It seems so! Go talk to Goofy to give him the sock. He’ll ask you to look around his house for clues.
In Goofy’s house, remove the five piles of trash, and you’ll find a clue: it’s blue fur. Take it to Donald. That’s it: you’re another step closer to getting Stitch – but you’ll have to wait again.
The Final Sock: Built to Destroy Quest
The third and final sock to unlock Stitch in Disney Dreamlight Valley was found in the Forest of Valor. Upon finding it, we’ll need to talk to Mickey, Kristoff and Merlin. It seems Merlin holds the answers we need, and so once we’ve spoken to him, we’ll need to go and search Merline’s house.
Once inside Merlin’s house, you’ll first need to remove five piles of trash. Once that’s all magicked away, there’ll be a glowing clue on the floor. Go pick it up: it appears to be a claw.
Once you’ve got it, go talk to Donald. He’ll give you the Strange Device which you found in Donald’s house after getting the first sock. Take this device to the little island just off the beach: you need to place it there. This requires you to enter Furniture mode, so press triangle/Y to get to yoru inventory, then toggle to ‘Furniture’. Once you’ve placed it, back out of Furniture mode, and a cutscene will kick in. Ta-da: Stitch is finally here!
Go and talk to Stitch, then talk to Donald. All that’s left is to build Stitch’s house. Find somewhere for the blueprint and place it via Furniture mode. Then interact with the sign to have Scrooge build it. You’ll need 10,000 coins. Once it’s built, go tell Stitch, and that’s it: you’ve just got your newest Dreamlight Valley resident!
