If you’re a PlayStation owner, you might want to clear your calendar for Thursday at 9pm GMT.
Sony has today announced a State of Play presentation scheduled for this Thursday, 23rd February. While we aren’t expecting any major first-party announcements, we will be getting a look at five upcoming PSVR 2 games, a bunch of third party games, and a 15-minute dive into Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League.
With PSVR 2 launching this week and a slate of games already announced (and dropping alongside it this week), we’re excited to know what else is on the horizon. It sounds like the five games being shown off at the State of Play will be brand new. It’s unclear if they are all first-party or if some are from internal Sony studios. We’ll have to wait and find out.

As for the third party titles, Sony’s announcement says “new looks at some anticipated games”, so these may well all be titles we already know about. Hopefully there’s one or two new things slipped in for good measure, though.
The final part of State of Play will be dedicated to Rocksteady’s upcoming Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. We can expect “all new gameplay details and updates”.
So: if all that sounds rather good to you, you can watch State of Play live on Thursday, 23rd February at 9pm GMT / 4pm ET. It’ll be available to watch on Sony’s official Twitch and YouTube channels. We’ll have all the news here right after.
