Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodhunt Adds Clan Tremere Tomorrow

Vampire the Masquerade Bloodhunt Tremere Update

Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodhunt is getting a new clan, the magic-wielding Tremere, and they’re arriving tomorrow.

Vampire-on-vampire battle royale game Bloodhunt launched just under a year ago and, at the time of writing, features four clans, the Toreador, the Brujah, the Nosferatu and the Ventrue. But, as of tomorrow, the Tremere are joining the fight.

If you’ve not delved into any of the VtM games so far, those names might not mean a lot to you. But, essentially, each clan has its own characteristics – the Brujah are the rebels, the Ventrue are the upper class vamps who think they deserve to be on top.

The Tremere, on the other hand, are the modern vampire world’s hardcore magic users. That’s not to say that other vampires can’t sling spells, but the Tremere make it their business. So you can expect Bloodhunt’s new arrivals to engage in all sorts of David Copperfield-style shenanigans.

However, while developer Sharkmob has yet to confirm this, we’d also expect them to be more vulnerable to physical attacks than most. And, if that is indeed the case, Tremere players should consider who they’re up against.

Sharkmob has been teasing the addition of the Tremere for a while now. They’ve also promised that the game’s patch notes will arrive later today, which should offer a greater insight into precisely what the Tremere can do.

The Bloodhunt Tremere Update releases tomorrow at Tuesday, March 28, at 9:00 AM CEST / 8:00AM BST. There’ll be a two hour maintenance downtime though Sharkmob haven’t clarified if they’ve factored that into the time.

If you’ve yet to play Bloodhunt, it’s free-to-play on PlayStation 5, PC (via Steam and the Epic Games Store) and GeForce Now.

Chris has been gaming since the days of the Acorn Electron, which was allegedly purchased to 'help him with his homework'. You can probably guess how well that went. He’ll tackle most genres – football titles aside – though he has a taste for games that that are post-apocalyptic, horror-oriented or thought provoking in nature.
