Continuing the story from Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, Survivor once against puts players in control of Cal Kestis. Despite being a Jedi, however, some players may be wondering if you can make him evil.
While you can’t make Cal turn to the Dark Side in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor and be truly evil, you can make him embrace the darkness a little. You’ll never unlock an ability to Force Choke enemies, for example, but you can use Force Push to send them flying off ledges which isn’t very nice. You can also dismember enemies with your lightsaber providing you’ve not got the feature disabled in the options menu.
More interesting to those wanting to see Cal turn to the Dark Side, however, is his Slow Time ability. Later in the game this gets an evil twist, with a red tinge appearing at the edges of the screen and Cal being able to cut down enemies with ease. Without spoiling anything, there are some other moments in the game where Cal isn’t so squeaky clean, either.
So, while you can’t be truly evil in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, you can at least flirt with the Dark Side. And after completing the game, if you move over to new game plus you can equip a red lightsaber blade. That should at least make you look more evil.
