Old-School FPS Hyperviolent Comes to PC Early Access on 6th April

Hyperviolent

Gamers looking for a new adrenaline-fueled experience are in for a treat, as Hyperviolent is set to launch on PC Early Access on April 6th.

Developed by Terminist Arcade and published by Fulqrum Publishing, Hyperviolent is a fast-paced, brutal old-school shooter about surviving the horrors of space.

Inspired by 3D games from the 90s, Hyperviolent throws you into a remote asteroid mining colony known as Commodus Asteroid 27-C. All is not well for the colony: it’s currently in the grips of monstrous foes, and it’s your job to, well, destroy them with bloody violence.

To begin with, Hyperviolent‘s early access release will feature the first five levels, amounting to approximately four to five hours of gameplay. There’ll also be 12 weapons for players to acquaint themselves with. Over the course of the Early Access period, Terminist Arcade will add more levels, more weapons and multiplayer support. In the final release, there’ll be 11 levels, and twice as many weapons.

So: if you like the idea of classic DOOM-like gameplay, retro horror and RPG mechanics, keep Hyperviolent on your radar. It’ll be launching into Early Access on Steam, Epic Game Store and GOG.com this Thursday, 6th April. Add it to your wishlist, or find out more information, on its official Steam page.
