Want more Vampire Survivors? Of course you do. And you’re in luck: Its Tides of the Foscari DLC is out today.
Vampire Survivors, as basic as it may appear, took the world by storm when it launched last year. Walk around, while your character automatically attacks enemies? Alright then. But walk around we did, and as we upgraded weapons and abilities time and time again, we just couldn’t get enough. Over our Christmas break, we lost count of how many hours we put into Vampire Survivors.
And now’s the perfect time to jump back in. Vampire Survivors: Tides of the Foscari is out today on PC, Xbox and mobile, offering more of, well, everything. Tides of the Foscari offers a brand new stage – Lake Foscari – for players to explore. It’s an enchanted forest filled with mythological beasties and mysteries to be uncovered. But that’s just the tip of the iceberg.
Here’s what else you’ll gain access to in Tides of the Foscari:
- Eight new characters, including magical user Eleanor, strong man Maruto and quick-witted Keitha
- Keitha and Maruto also feature attack animations for the first time
- 13 new weapons, including SpellString, Eskizzibur, Flash Arrow and Prismatic Missile
- 7 new music tracks
- 21 achievements
- A number of surprises
We can’t tell you what those surprises are, as we’re still to discover them ourselves. You won’t have access to everything the DLC offers straight away, as you’ll first need to progress enough through Vampire Survivors to meet the unlock requirements. If you’re already a seasoned player, that shouldn’t be a problem. But if you’re diving in for the first time, you’ll gradually unlock new content as you play.
There’s a small update for all players launching alongside the Tides of the Foscari DLC today, too. This will add new Seal power-ups and four new songs.
