It’s safe to say that Cal Kestis is a different person in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor than he was in Fallen Order.
He’s older, tougher, more skilled, and determined to take the fight to the empire. But then something happens that shakes his confidence. Needless to say, his fresh-faced, squeaky-clean appearance in Fallen Order just doesn’t suit him anymore, and so in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor he starts with more of a rough-and-ready look. But what’s great is that you can customise him further.
Take the time to explore environments in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, and you’ll unlock a wide range of cosmetics for Cal. You can unlock outfits, alternative colours and even alternative hair options. Granted, it’s weird opening up a crate to be presented with a new moustache for you to place on Cal’s face, but we’re not going to look a gift horse in the mouth. We do love customising our in-game characters, after all.
There are other ways to unlock cosmetics in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, too. There’s an in-game shop where you can exchange the valuables you find on your travels for some, for example, and you also bag some for picking up the Deluxe edition of the game. In any case, spend some time exploring, and you should open up a decent number of customisation options for your determined Jedi.

We settled on our favourite combo about halfway through Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. We wanted to give Cal a grungy, rough look, befitting of a Jedi that’s struggling with his ideals and emotions. And so we donned a thick head of unkempt hair along with a headband, a thick horseshoe moustache, and the Hermit outfit that’s a preorder bonus. This gave Cal almost an Obi-Wan look, and we never looked back.
It’s up to you to define your own look in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor though. So, get exploring, find some cosmetics, and make Cal the hero you want him to be.
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC.
